ALASKA
2024
Pinching myself
Typically I thank people at the end of these galleries...but this, I just have to start off with thanking. The feeling of living normal day to day life to suddenly standing on the beach of the Alaskan Peninsula in the span of two months is surreal.
and I owe it all to these people.
My wife and parents. They immediately supported me and helped to get the gear that I needed.
My wildlife photography friends. Colin Bigelow, Dan Lindhart, Larry Reeves, Jimmy Breitenstein, Lydia Ripplinger, and Andrew Seegmiller. All of whom either gave advice or even offered some of their own gear for me to bring.
Cassie Noel and Jennifer Fogle Smith who welcomed me into the bear camp and quickly proved that bear camp is just as much if not more about the people you meet.
Plus of course, Scott and Jackie Stone. My good heavens. Making my dreams come true over night in every way. They weren't in this for the money or the fame. I am a no name photographer from Utah who dreamt of an Alaskan adventure.
With that being said...they say pictures are worth a thousand words.
I'd argue these 100 pictures are worth a little more than that to me.
Enjoy!
